The King’s School Linbro Park Preschool exists to establish firm foundations in the lives of children in the areas of education and an understanding of God and our purpose in His creation.  The preschool caters for children from 3 years to Grade R and is staffed by three qualified teachers and a teacher’s assistant. There are three groups. The 3 – 4 year old "Parrots" follow an outcomes based programme developed from a programme set up by the Independent Schools Association of South Africa (ISASA). A similar programme is followed by the middle group, the "Owls," which consists of children 4 – 5 years old. The Grade R group, ages 5 – 6 and known as the "Eagles," follows the curriculum set by the Department of Education with adaptations from the ISASA programme. Our preschool learners participate in several extra activities of The King’s School Linbro Park including sports, library and assembly. 

The preschool has recently moved into its current premises, a renovated house under a magnificent oak tree. We have three bright and colourful classrooms as well as our own kitchen facilities. Our garden has a large sandpit, wooden jungle gym and cycle track. Our garden provides a colourful and welcoming play area helping us to fulfil our vision of creating a stimulating and homely environment in which the spiritual, emotional, physical and educational needs of the individual child can be met.
