Syllabus and Subject Choice
As an independent school we follow the Gauteng Department of
Education syllabus and write the IEB (Independent Education Board) examinations
which are recognized internationally.
During the Grade 9 year, pupils are asked to make a choice
of 7 subjects which will make up their Matric Subject choice.
We offer an academic Matric, with or without exemption,
depending on the options chosen.
Choices can be made from the following
subjects:
• English & Afrikaans
(Compulsory)
• Mathematics
(Compulsory)
• History
• Geography
• Business Economics

Accounting
• Biology
• Art
• Drama
• Science
