School fee structure per month for 2012 – excluding levies

GRD 4 – 6                        R3 150.00

All fees except aftercare are payable one month in advance from January to November of each year.

 

Levies

 

Development levy           R110.00 per child per month; this levy is capped at R200.00 per family.

Fundraising levy            R200.00 per child per annum.  This is billed @ R50.00 per month from January to April.  This levy is capped at R400.00 per family.

Grd 12 IEB Exam Fee     R4 350.00 per learner; half is billed in April and the balance in September.

Life Science                        R45.00 per month

Geography                          R45.00 per month

CAT                                R120.00 per month

Visual Art                          R140.00 per month

 

Rebates and sibling discounts

 

First child                             Full rate

Second child                          R50.00 per month reduction

Third child                            R250.00 per month reduction

Fourth child                           R350.00 per month reduction

 

An 8% reduction on the school fee portion is deductible if the annual fees are paid in full by 31/01/2012.

 

Notice Period

 

As per the financial policy of The King’s School a one full term’s written notice to the Principal is required should you wish to remove your child from the school.  Deposits will only be refunded if all school fees are paid in full.

 

Debit Orders

 

It is a requirement that all school fees are paid via a debit order unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing with the school.  You are only required to sign another debit order form if the deduction is for a fixed amount.  Should you be on a flexible debit order, then the deduction will automatically adjust on the 1st January 2012.
